I love borrowing trends from previous decades and mixing them together with current ones. The 70s, 80s and even the 90s were so fashion-centric, and there are so many great styles from those time periods that still work today.
Celebrities whose style I covet:
Liv Tyler and Zoe Kravitz are the epitome of cool- although both of their moms were models I think they get their style cues from their rockstar dads! I love how they mix masculine and feminine pieces together to create the perfect balance of "flirty tomboy" without looking like they tried to hard.
Fashion faux pas/trend I’ll be happy to see gone:
Can’t live without:
A really soft flannel shirt (or two or three!). In San Francisco especially, they're such a great layering piece because you can wear them year round. I wear mine with everything, even dresses!
Wear what makes you feel strong, beautiful and happy. Confidence can make a girl's day!
I'm a professionally trained dancer and my love for dance has continued to grow over the years. I also love to read any book that I can get my hands on!
When I’m not working you can find me:
I'm born and raised here so I have a ton of favorite spots! Most of my family is in San Jose now so I spend a lot of time down there- although San Francisco is amazing it's nice to get out of the city and explore the rest of the Bay Area. Berkeley has this amazing creative energy unlike anywhere else I've been (and catching a poetry night is always an option!), and my favorite Eritrean restaurant is in Oakland- definitely a must if you like to try new things!
